Well after a little hiatus, International Metallic Handgun Silhouette Association will be back at Douglas Ridge Rifle Club.

We will have our first big bore match on Aug 3rd. This is a 40 round match shot in 8 - 5 round stages. Each stage is timed - 30 sec to load and 2 min to shoot 5 rounds. Steel targets must fall down to count. 10 chickens at 50, 10 pigs at 100, 10 turkeys at 150 and 10 rams at 200 meters.

Those 50lb steel rams are the most fun to hit.

Cost is $10 for the first gun and $5 each additional gun. Loaner equipment is available.

We start shooting at 9a.

Handloading some new brass this weekend for my TC. Going to have to sneak out to the range one night after work to do some sighting in and load development... Can't wait to smack the rams!!!

I'll be early to help setup!
