I want to turn a corncobb style forend on my lathe for a project gun I am working on. I tried to buy one off eBay but it ended up selling for way more then I was willing.

SO if anyone in shotgun land has a corncobb (completely round with 26-27 rings) forend I am looking for the following dimensions (best taken with a calipers)

Lenght (this can be done with a ruler down to the 1/16th please)

Diameter at each end (best with caliper to the 1/100th at least)

Diameter at the start of each taper (towards the ends)

Distance grooves start from each end.

Width of the grooves and flats

Diameter of the body in the center on a flat and in a groove

If anyone is kind enough to do this for me I will gladly paypal something for your time.

thanks for reading

I have read one reference to it being 7.25" long and the Diameter looks to be real close to what I will end up with smoothing out the Wingmaster forend I am going to use to make it. So if no one here or one the Shotguning forum I asked comes through I can get pretty close I think just working off the dozen photos I have collected off line.
