I have a few magazines that are getting a bit "old". I am having failure to feed issues with more than two specific handguns, and think that it is most likely a weakened spring that is the culprit. The Guns/magazines affected have both seen long term loaded clip storage. The obvious first solution is to just buy new mags, but I can't help but think that the springs are probably some off the shelf item that I could find somewhere near........ Have any of you replaced the springs in a magazine? If so, from what source?

It would be very helpful to have a clue what magazines you were talking about. SInce parts for some are easy to find while others finding a single replacement magazine might take a lot of work.

Wolf Springs is a good place to start, thank you.
And Mark, you make a good point.... The mags I am having issues with belong to an early Sig 229 in .40sw (10 rnd), and a Colt Huntsman.
