I had a great time seeing the Hu Band and Iron Maiden. Sketchy looking crowd, but the music was good!

I saw Iron Maiden one night and Spinal Tap the next at the same venue.

Now, I have a ton of respect for Iron Maiden. But their new guitarist at that point, Gers (?), was standing on top of his Marshall stacks spanking his guitar with the cord. Which was, um, very Spinal Tap.

Number of the Beast was their best album. Piece of Mind was damned good.

I saw em on the 7th son tour. My crowd was more punk rock but as there was no such genre or concept as "crossover," I made the best of it.

Janick Gers. Been with the band since 1990.

Last …
Iron Maiden album : Seventh Son
Metallica: Master of Puppets
Megadeth: So far, So Good, So What
Ozzy: The Ultimate Sin

Have no idea after that.
