HC3r magazines are great once you get used to loading them the way I found is to take the slide follower up to the top load in 5 22LR cartridges turn the magazine upside down and about 45 degrees to the RH side, push slide follower down very gently lock in place, slip 20 or as many as you want to shoot, 20 or 1 in the clip insert clip in the magazine unlock and slide follower up against cartridges, insert in rifle and shoot, seems to work for me.!

I will have to try this out tomorrow when I get home. I've had one of their kits for quite some time and was so disappointed in it that it's just been gathering dust. The concept is great, something like 200-250 rounds of 22lr ready to rock in my 10/22's but couldn't get it to work. Tried several different 10/22's as well. If I'm home before dark, I'll give it a go and report back.

Great I was kind of disappointed to begin with but I think this method will work seemed like almost every time I tried to load it the other way the first round would never load properly, when it did it worked great.

KMK 1012: Have you tried the loading process yet, ley me know if it works for you?

I have not tried it out yet, may have some time this weekend, maybe tonight. It's pretty warm out in my back yard but, I do have a new suppressor to test on my 10/22 also.

KMK 1012: I took my 10/22 to the range today and shot 7/ 25 round magazines all seem to load but had one that went to s**t usually when the follower tension is released in order to fit the 20 rnd clip into the magazine have to make sure the 1st round doesn't fall out usually the magazine is at the wrong angle, have to finesse it may take a few tries to get it down but works great when you do, shot 7/ 25 round magazines, 5/ 10 round magazines and 50 rounds in my Ruger MK4 pistol, had a fun day everything cleaned and lubed and reloaded ready for next week.
