Hi Everyone,
I was searching for a good FFL in Portland/Beaverton and this site came up. I found lots of recommended places. Thanks to everyone that posted. I then looked at a few of the discussions and classifieds and really liked what I saw. I thought "why am I just now finding this?" I'm looking forward to lots of good information and fun discussions. I used to shoot quite a bit out at Douglas Ridge rifle range doing some Defensive Handgun drills/shoots. I would like to get back into shooting more. I'm over on the Westside now. So if anyone has good places to shoot, feel free to pass them along. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Welcome to the forum Muggs! Tri-county Gun Club (TCGC) could be a good range option for you. It has a year waitlist, so sign up now if you're interested. There's always the recreational shooting areas out near Tillamook State Forest, Wolf Creek and Brown's Camp.

I started shooting at browns camp in tillamook forest but DANG! There are way too many idiots out there.

We set up in the query with some other folks and the next guys just shot from the parking lot 20' behind us and 15' above our heads. One person discharge low and we were toast. Never again.
