I ran into an old coworker that was not into guns very much ( he is a cop). His wife wanted to shoot so he made her pick out her own gun. That led to her wanting more. He wanted more as well as they had a new hobby together now. Last year he told me he spent over 30k on guns and another 20k on ammo. Not a big stockpiler as he said he shoots it up pretty fast.

His wife got to pick her own ccw gun… she chose a Python.

He is young and lives in a liberal area so more power to him for bucking the norm.
