How do I mount a light on a 10/22

I'm looking to mount a light on my 10/22? I have a folding plastic stock on my rifle and looking to put a light on for varmints. Been having a raccoon and possum problem. I've seen some options for barrel bands that have rail Sections on them. Wondering if anybody has experience?

I mount all my lights that way.. people laugh until you need the light in hand and it's a knife cut away..good luck when you need a Allen wrench in the dark.

The economical way, use a zip tie to mount a small flashlight. Or go spendier and attach a rail to mount a light.

I found a few on eBay! Thank you tho. I'll order that way. Do you know if there is a to separate the lazer and rail mountsv

On my plastic stocks I just mount a magpul pic rail section using a couple of ss screws. Boom, instant light mount.

Magpul X-22 stock has Mlok slots which will allow endless mounting options for a light. A Reptilia Torch body is one of my favorites.

Just mount a 2" picatinny rail to the stock.

I'd remove the stock and just mount a pic rail where you want it. Just make sure the hardware clears the barrel.

I may have some extra sections laying around that you're more than welcome to have.
