I was unaware Reddit had a sort of gun parts sale section. What a bummer they closed it down.

It's odd they allow some pretty graphic stuff yet ban the option of people selling legal, private property to other people.
Unless there was rampant scamming going on.. but it seems like more a means to attack the firearm centric communities when they allow a bunch other really crazy stuff.

It really was quite ridiculous, meanwhile they have all sorts of illegal drug usage subreddits that are still alive and well.

GAFS did have a ton of scammers however, though the mods did an amazing and thankless job to keep it safe

Yeah it was quite a big community supposedly 100-200k members. They are starting a new website to replace it however

Welcome, this is a great site and community here.
That sucks about GAFS I wasnt aware it got taken down. No matter personal opinions about Reddit as a website I see any ban of resources like that chipping away at gun rights, less people buying guns and parts the less new gun owners (and new voters) getting involved with 2A. Its a slow but gradual pipeline to passing new laws. Reddit has massive reach on the internet. And ya I never really could get into Tacswap not my cup of tea.

I've heard of reddit, but don't care to explore. I waste nearly all of my time here on NWFA!
