Obviously you're bike guy so I want to pick your brain. If that's cool with you.

I've had this aluminum framed mountain bike for years. Got it used, but it came with some really good components.
But I have no idea who made it.
Are there any books or website or forums where a guy can find stuff like that out.
Serial # starts with d16c.
Any help is appreciated.
