I started target shooting a little in 2004/05 while in college. Shot a 308 as my first high powered rifle round in 2007 or so. Didn't really start buying guns until around 2010.I don't think so. I was building pipe guns and making my own black powder in the early '50s. Granted, my first cartridge weapon, purchased with lawn mowing money, was a mail order 20ga bolt action, ($5.00 down and $5.00 a week) from Sears.
