Just before and During WWII right here around Silverton some farmers grew a LOT of hemp. There was a processing plant half way in between where I grew up and town. Right after the war the contracts ended the plant closed and the farmers went back to what ever crop was going to make them the most money based on their farms.

In High school in the mid 70's there were still 2-3 places around the area where Hemp had gotten out and went wild. One friends farm had about a 1 acre wild field of it that had been on the edge of a WWII field. We never even tried to smoke it would have been a waste of time. You could have smoked it like a cigg addict and wouldn't have gotten high. But it did make for some interesting photos. Posing girl friends etc. in a huge field of "POT". None of them made it into the annual at high school though LOL.

MANY years ago, living in Utah, we'd always heard of "Nebraska No-High". That they grew it there during the war years and it still grew wild along the road sides. And that you could get busted for picking/smoking the stuff.

Lord, compared to that stuff now the stuff we smoked in high school was "No-High". I don't know how people do it!

CBD oil really helps take the edge off of chronic pain, it works for me.;)
and dogs. My wife has a dog treat business and started CBD dog treats about a year ago. She cant make enough for the demand. Really helps the old dogs and dogs with joint problems. Someone even wrote saying it has helped a young dog with anxiety and nerves

I have always been strongly against legalizing weed for consumer use, but after reading into hemp and CBD I'm all for it.
I have a friend who was paralyzed from the chest down 4 years ago. He was on a truck load of opiods and morphine to deal with the pain, muscle spasms, and nerve pain.
He started using low THC, high CBD for pain management and got off all the opiods and morphine, and it does more to control his spasms.

Also for use in cancer patients.

I've unfortuntley had to watch the positive reactions of it and now swear by it.
Once you see the relief it can give a loved one going through hell, you can't help but support it.

And looking at the opiod crisis we have in this country, it could help people get off their addiction or at least give other options for people who suffer cronic pain than to turn towards addictive pain meds.

I would guess the vast majority of opiod addiction is due to people being drug addicts, and the addictive properties of opiods and not cronic pain.

Don't remember, I got it up in Bellingham a few years ago. I've been wanting to get more but it is spendy....
Yes it is. I tried some and it kinda felt like it took the edge off some pain I was having, but not sure if it was really helping, and being so expensive, I didnt want to waste more $$
