I sold off the RXM and love the Grand Power Q1. pistolAsk @Lazyfaire about Ruger rxm vs grand power Q1. I think he has/had both.
Does the Grand Power take Glock mags? That's the big attraction to me.Ask @Lazyfaire about Ruger rxm vs grand power Q1. I think he has/had both.
No takes steel mags not Glock onesDoes the Grand Power take Glock mags? That's the big attraction to me.
Yep comes with 3 mags (probably mecgar). Apparently the GP mags work in cz-75 but not the other way around unless you make a mag catch hole in the cz-75 mags. Taylor freelance mag extenders for cz-75 mags apparently do work on the GP mags.No takes steel mags not Glock ones
I'm contemplating trading an sig for a vp9. How come the general consensus for them is meh?I would too. I had their VP9 and was less than impressed. There's also the P2000.
P365 trigger with dingus.yeah see thats entirely what I'm caught up on too with the p365 fuse, xmacro etc.
I love mine...but...$40 mags hurt when you're used to sub $20 Glock magsI'm contemplating trading an sig for a vp9. How come the general consensus for them is meh?
IThe left handed slide release seems like an afterthought, As stated, in the post I quoted, if going HK I would choose a hammer fired gun. Don't get me wrong it's a quality gun but I bought it as a potential replacement to my Glocks, ended up keeping the Glocks and moving the VP9.I'm contemplating trading an sig for a vp9. I'm not a huge striker-fire pistol fan, but I have a number of Glocks, most of which have had some trigger work done on them. Got the VP9 as the best out of the box striker-fire I could find. Really like it and I personally think it is the best factory striker-fire trigger I've used.I'm contemplating trading an sig for a vp9. How come the general consensus for them is meh?
I see no issue with the OEM Glock triggers.I'm not a huge striker-fire pistol fan, but I have a number of Glocks, most of which have had some trigger work done on them. That said, I do like the HK LEM trigger on the P30 and P2000. Long first stroke though.
Different strokes. Have bought new and used Glocks, various models and calibers. Still own a few. Not one of them had a decent feeling trigger out of the box. But I grew up on Sigs and 1911s, so I like a smooth non-gritty feeling trigger. Have a few CZ that have been to CZ Custom and their triggers are incredible for a DA/SA. Obviously a striker-fired gun isn't going to be anything like that, but I like something better than a Glock.I see no issue with the OEM Glock triggers.
Well I'm poor so…. I also prefer reliability.Different strokes. Have bought new and used Glocks, various models and calibers. Still own a few. That's the other thing about Glocks... in my experience they are best kept completely stock to maintain excellent reliability. Although I had two Made in USA models and quickly sold them. But otherwise yes, they are solid, reliable guns.Well I'm poor so…. I also prefer reliability.
None of my internals get changed. But every single Glock I own has a potential of being in my carry rotation. I also own and shoot Glocks specifically. Have been doing so for decades now so I'm a bit stuck in my ways. That's the other thing about Glocks... in my experience they are best kept completely stock to maintain excellent reliability. Excellant response thank youI love mine...but...$40 mags hurt when you're used to sub $20 Glock mags
If I could afford to completely switch platforms I would, but 20 years of collecting Glock stuff is hard to walk away from. HKs are great guns, but they will have less aftermarket support and generally cost more to outfit compared to most other brands. That said, if I was starting from scratch, I wouldn't hesitate.
Thank you i want a Hk45c with lem. I sgoot a 5946, with a heavy Dao, I prefer Dao triggers in carry guns. Hk parts makes a drop in lem for them, may get oneI'm not a huge striker-fire pistol fan, but I have a number of Glocks, most of which have had some trigger work done on them.
