Hi all, new to the site. I am interested in Long Range Target Shooting, and doing it on the cheap. My goal is to shoot 1000 yards for around $700. I have participated quite a bit in airgun target shooting competitions here in western washington and biathlon. Yes, that's right, two of the most geeky target rifle sports that have ever been invented. Guaranteed to get an eye-roll from the range master as he is cleaning his Garand... Looking forward to learning more from folks here..

700.00 just look for used EQ. I had a mauser 98 that was custom barreled in 6.5 Gibbs.
I put a used Leupold vxIII. And we were shooting 800 and 1000yrds all the time.
the whole setup was around 450.00
I did score the rifle
