Just joined yesterday. I've done a lot of shooting in my time but haven't done much since around 1990 when I was shot. With all the turmoil in the country, I thought it might be good to get back into it. I joined a local gun club, Securite in Woodinville, WA and I'm on my way. Also bought my first AR in the last month. I've had a Mini 14 and an AK in the past but not an AR. I've done reloading in the past and shot in a DCM match to qualify for a surplus M1 Garand which I still have.

Kevin, do you feel you have gotten value out of Securite? They are the closest gun club to me and I am considering joining

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your journey getting reacquainted with firearms.
I took a similar hiatus between 2001 and 2019 due to really poor work life balance.

Since getting back into firearms I find it's nice down here in the rabbit hole....
