Just moved here about 6 months ago from sunny Orange County. Miss the clubs, the mass volume hot women (most of them scantily clad), perfect weather and beaches, constant sunshine, but am happy I don't have to deal with the traffic, smog and the "interesting" California gun laws anymore. People out here in Portland certainly are friendlier in general it seems and I'm happy about that too.

A shout out to all other veterans and particularly my fellow Marines. Semper Fi. I hope to learn a lot and contribute what I can here.
