How's it going everybody. My name is Chuck. I'm a Northwest native of 34 years. Not new to firearms but by no means am I an expert lol. Also a reloader but again, by no means an expert. I hand load for my AR, 308, 7.62x39, 6.5 Grendel, 50 Beowulf, 45, 9mm and 380. I am a bit of an AR enthusiast, however I don't discriminate, I love an AK and anything else that goes boom and shoots a projectile hahaha. Thank you! Yea it's a ton of fun but me, in my almighty genius, got the non threaded barrel and without running a break it kicks like a pissed off mule on steroids lol. I'll get it threaded and a muzzle break installed on it soon though. Seriously though, after 10 rounds through a PMag I've got a nice lil bruise on my shoulder.

Welcome Chuck. I am an AR fan also. But all my AR's are 223?
I am jealous I would like to explore some different calibers.
When I first started shooting I got bored just punching paper.
Started shooting rifle and pistol matches at the local gun clubs.
Matches are open to the public so you do not have to be a member.
Wolverton Mountain, Clark Rifles and Lone Oak in Washington state.
I shoot matches at TCGC, DRRC, ERGC, and Albany in Oregon.
Most all fellow shooters are very helpful and friendly to new shooters.
I have learned a lot about what works. And had a lot of fun. Starting
in February there is a match about every weekend. 2016 schedule
as example. 2017 not out yet. Next match is the "Hangover" match
new year's day at ERGC. All rapid fire!
