Hello from a new gun owner.

Hi, everyone! Just want to introduce myself. I have only recently (2012) become a gun owner, and am glad that I've found a solid-looking regional forum on the subject. Though previously anti-gun, I have since come around and recognized the importance of the right of private citizens to bear arms and now I can't see what I was so worked up about (though I do still tend to find myself on the left side of many other issues). So far I have a Glock 17 and a Remington 700 in .30-06.

I'm taking the Oregon hunter education course (finish next week) and I'm looking forward to doing some hunting this fall.
