I'd like to learn what's out there, new or used at this point, considering how hard it seems to be just to find any VP9SK for sale locally.

This is for my son the airplane driver, who really liked the HK pistol he carried during his stint as a Federal Flight Deck Security Officer. For that reason, he wants a Heckler and Koch for his first personally-owned handgun, and he's decided their VP9SK would be perfect. (I can't fault the choice, but he's new at the game and doesn't realize that the "perfect" pistol is an illusion.)

Anyway, i decided to help him with the search . . . and surprise him by making a gift of it. That way, I get it when he decides on the next pistol that'd be "perfect".

On Edit: He concluded that "availability" trumped "perfection", so the search ended when he spotted a spiffy new P30SK on display in his LGS.
