As you can tell, new dude here, just stopping in to say "Howdy"!

I am an old-school Army Infantry Sergeant living in the Portland Metro area. I just retired and am now beginning to pick back up some of the hobbies that I loved but left behind years ago, such as shooting. Though I have occasionally punched some paper over the years, I don't think I've been to a "real/official range since about '95.

I was an M16 A1/A2 instructor and part time armorer back in the day, and am looking forward to becoming re- aquatinted with my small but rather neglected firearms collection.

I am a bit old school, so you will find me mostly browsing the classic discussions, but that doesn't mean I don't love a well built modern piece.

Anyway, that's me. It's a pleasure to be here.
