Went down to central Oregon to hunt Coyote. Finally got one, man that was fun.

Setup wind in my face, rock ledge out in front, set the call to my right. Coyote came in from the left, went all the way to the call, then headed back out. Took the shot standing (sage brush in the way off my shooting sticks) and hit her running at 45 yards. Good day.

18" AR, 50 grain V-Max suppressed. She came in around 6 minutes, to a mixture of Nuty Nuthatch and Crow Fight (FoxPro)

Looks like a (formerly) successful, healthy specimen. Must've been on the "high-end" of the breeding gene pool around there.

Thats awesome! I want to get out with my kids. What model call are you using? I've had an old crossfire for 3 years and took it out once..... Im ashamed to say that out loud.....
I have the older FoxPro Wildfire with decoy. I like its size, and it works. I've called in a few but either missed them or they got spooked and ran. Been trying for about 8 years (once or twice a year). Most the time I see them while I'm driving, or in town and can't do anything about it. This success was a long time coming, but now I want to go every weekend… 🤣

P.s. called 2 grey fox in on some family land a few weeks ago using it as well, just no permission to take Fox there.
