I know that you're not in the Oregon/ Washington area but we've found the best way to meet the community and learn where and how to use public lands responsibly is through grass roots involvement.

If there isn't a local group that advocates for responsible stewardship of public lands, check out Trash No Land.

Thanks, I'll absolutely take a look at that site. In the crazy state of Massachusetts, I'm not sure they even offer it except for hunting in certain areas. I'm a member at a local sportsman club and an indoor range.

I also volunteered with the local Scout troop for 15 years with my boys, both Eagles, and we followed the Leave no Trace program.

Love to see organizations getting outside and teaching the next generation there is more to life than social media and video games!!
