Yeah, same. I've driven as far as the "water tower" almost to the end of the road but couldn't find the actual spot to shoot. Was I close?

there are a few places but nothing with much range. good if your shooting a shotgun or a pistol.

Where do you shoot exactly? I noticed a number of houses back there by the water tower (on the right).

there is a little fork that leads off to up the hill, follow it. there will be a few houses but its clear when you get up higher. just look for shotgun shells littered all over the ground and you will find a spot.

Just to be clear.. is the "shooting area" on the boarder of where the trees are cut down? Essentially shooting into an open field?

Went back out to try and find the shooting area at the end of Gooseneck with no luck. My wife and I drove down right past the green "water tower", got out, and walked the boundaries of the cleared out BLM area. We couldn't find a single shell anywhere.

Anyone have some input?

You are missing the left turn, approximately 3 miles up and at the bottom of a hill on Gooseneck Road ... takes you up and on the BLM ...

The turn is 3.1 miles from Hwy 22, look for a small brown sign on a metal post with flagging. The road number is 6-6-31, take this road to where it Y's and go left or right. From this Y you are exclusively on BLM lands.

Leave the place cleaner than you found it and do not shoot the trees or use them as your back stop!!
