I have two of their lowers that I built to mate with three bull barrel uppers. No issues with them and they have 10k rounds through them combined.
They don't like pmags but that could just be my parts I put into them.
I hate to see these little guys get gobbled up but that is business.

Oh please. Don't play coy.

Anderson lowers are like fat girls. Admit it. We've all driven down that road.

-E-
I think I have 4 of their lowers in the safe. Never once had a problem with them. Poverty or not they work.

Not if it's anything like Marlin's was.
Out of all of the Marlin machinery, Ruger is using ONE machine.
Marlin wasn't really making anything anyone wanted to buy, hence their demise. Im sure they were still using shapers from the 40's. Anderson is balls deep in the AR world which just got top heavy . Im sure they have some decent machining centers.

By good for the employees I mean they will continue to have work.

By good for Ruger I mean they now have access to more capital goods (plant & machines) and a skilled workforce.

The owners of their rifles will be the unfortunate ones.
No more Warranty.
I recently had to send back one of their rifles with a Headspace Issue. (Out of the box)
They replaced the Barrel and shipped it back the next day. I was impressed with that.
I hope to find out Tomorrow how it functions.
Since there is still new stock on Dealers shelves for sale I hope the Purchasers are told there is no longer a Factory Warranty

All I can say is wow. Maybe all my Anderson lowers will be collectable now. :)

"In the announcement, Ruger noted that it will discontinue the Anderson brand and instead "integrate the facility's capabilities into its broader operations...."
