I SBR'd a PS90 and have recently discovered Fiocchi Subsonic 5.7x28 ammo.I would like to know what suppressor would be the best choice for this. Reliability is more important than sound reduction. I have a YHM 5.56 can which YHM says will work just fine buy I'd something a little less bulky if such exists.

Suggestions?

Dead air mask? Might be small but they're rated for 5.7 and seem to sound pretty good on 5.7 pistols on YouTube. Mines probably my best sounding .22 can I have . It's my heaviest .22 can but isn't bad on my 10/22 and tx22.

I run a .30cal on my sbr'd ps90. The ps90 stocks can crack at the takedown button area from too much back pressure. I generally find overbored cans more comfortable for me anyways due to my level of hearing loss and the tone of the cans. Everyone that shoots mine thinks it sounds great. I've run some 5.56 cans on it as well but the .30 cal cans definitely are my go to, even for 5.56.

This is a video my gun that the guys at a gunshop used at one of their range days.

I run a Silencerco Switchback on my full auto P90, runs marvelous.
Thank you for your recommendations.
Have either of you tried the new Fiocchi Subsonic ammo yet?

It really depends what your goals are. If you want a rifle rated one that you can also use with 5.56 I would get a flow through 5.56 can. Flow through solves the problem of increased back pressure for any gun. PTR vent would be my first choice but they are spendy. Second choice would be Huxwrx.

If you want an inexpensive but small and light flow through can the Huxwrx flow .22 is 5.7 rated and would be 1/3 the price.

If you want a heavier do-all can I would get a 7.62 flow through can. Again PTR and Hixwrx would be the best imo. The 7.62 Ventum is $669 on sale. You'll lose a bit of sound reduction but can use in multiple calibers. Probably too heavy and big for an sbr ps90 though.

I would avoid ANY itty bitty sized cans unless you don't care about sound reduction. They are four times louder than regular size 22 can with 22lr subsonics.

Here's a flow 22 on a 10" Stribog .22 can't remember weight it's either 3.7 oz or 3.9

I have used my Mask on mine, but I actually liked my Alaskan 360 better when I tried that on my p90 on a whim, it was much quieter especially with supers (not surprising considering its volume).

I am thinking of getting one of those huxwrx 9mm flow throughs that should also work quite nicely for 5.7, and it can be my can that jumps between my 9mm PCCs and my P90 SBR.
