I was a fan of stippling and frame reduction/angle fix on Glocks for years... but

I just picked up the G6G19... why?

Because It doesn't feel like a brick - it's actually comfortable to hold, the trigger is excellent for 5lbs, and I don't have to get the frame worked on to get it to instinctually point correctly.

Even stepped up to a red dot on this one.

Congrats. Nice looking piece!

I wish they would remove the beavertail. But that's just me. I'll stick with Gen 5s and a DIY stipple job. Glad you like it though!

How about that palm swell on the Gen6?
I'm an absolute fan of it, I still need to get my hands on a 19.6 and decide whether it will replace my Gen3 or just stick into carry rotation

Back in January, I bought three new Glocks. Because I liked my Gen 3 G19 that I'd had for many years. I thought I'd try out some different ones. One was a G20V, that's the 10mm that was made between the Gen 5 and 6. I'm not so much into the little iterations that change from one version to the next, I'm not that picky. But I had to let the G20 go. Because my arthritic hand didn't like it. I have two Colt Delta Elites, those are all steel guns, the gun sits in my hand and takes up some of the recoil. The G20, not so much. I'm sure its light weight makes it a great duty or carry gun for those in the business who want a 10mm. That's not for me, I'm not packing a gun, waiting for a reason to use it. I just go to the range and shoot targets, mostly, and for that purpose the Colt is more comfortable. No problem letting the G20 go, my dealer bought it outright, he said he could pay me as much for it as if I put it on consignment and paid his fee. Glocks move fast out of his store.

One of the other new Glocks is a G21, that's a .45 Auto. I can shoot that one well, I've been able to shoot smaller groups with it than the other new gun, a G17.

That's one reason I bought the V versions instead of the Gen 6, I didn't care for the beavertail.

Beavertails really suck when it comes to appendix carry. If it was just a OWB duty gun I wouldn't mind at all.

Well, if you got any interest in a G30 gen4 (.45 subcompact) I may have what you're looking for. 🤣😊
