What's a gen 5 slide cover plate? I don't see a picture of it unless I'm missing something? Does it create complications that may affect reliability?

I have one for a Gen 5 I have yet to try. Worst case scenario I don't like it and swap someone for an OEM one.

It's the only part that looks like a slide cover plate. GEN5 covers have a slightly bigger cutout. They are backwards compatible with gen3/4.

Last time I bought a GPT, it came with the Gen 5 cover plate in the blister pack. They work on most gens and small frame models, now.
