Selling a cerakote project I had going, but am not sure about completing. Nearly new 48 silver slide with OEM barrel, guide rod, spring, and parts. A box of 50 rounds total has been through it. Frame is a 43 that was cerakoted in @LuckySG 's "Chernobyl" method of six colors layered with a salt grind in between. The resulting pattern was nicknamed "industrial disaster."
My plan was to have the slide milled, cut for optics, and cerakoted with a white bloom pattern, like when stainless steel finally starts to rust, add a few hyve mag extensions, which they said they would send raw to cerakote the same rust pattern as the slide.
However, a $1,000+++ never-going-to-get-carried carry gun project is for the birds. As it sits now, it's still a smooth shooter, has a long sight radius, and carries tight on the body with the shorter grip of the 43. It was meant to be like a "26L" on a diet.
I'm sure there's two magazines for it, at least, and maybe even an ETS extended mag, maybe. I'm completely willing to separate the top and bottom to sell separately. Price for the top end would be $350 for the discontinued silver slide.
The frame alone would be $200 delivered to your FFL locally, or shipped. Magazines included that can be.
Save $100 by buying the whole shebang. $450, and I will do my best to accommodate your preferred FFL for a transfer.
Will take bright and clear photos once the sun is up.
