Am I the only one that would rather have a 19 instead?????

For sure. Easy to carry and lots of makes and models have more than enough capacity. 13 in my 23 is more than comfy for me.

Glock is a day late and a dollar short in finally offering a compact single stack 9mm. Just about everyone else already offers such a model. They are literally last to bring a product to market in this model segment.

The Walther PPS came out way back in 2007. And it offers a Striker trigger system just like the Glock, and even disassembly is identical to that of a Glock. In 2008 they brought out the PPS in .40 S&W, and that is when I bought mine.

So I have had a nice compact single stack Glock now for 7 years.

So it looks like these are the prices for the G43:
$358 blue
$449 red

GSSF about $27 more than LE blue
