Whats the total cost now to buy from a private party?

I'm assuming transfer fee and taxes? New to this since the system changed.

Transfers between private parties do not pay sales tax. The amount of the transfer fee is dependent upon the FFL used. The lowest I've personally seen is $21, but it varies. Generally the transfer fee is paid by the buyer, but some sellers offer to pay the transfer fee themselves. It varies.

We charge 20 for long guns and 25 for handguns for the transfer. No taxes on private sales.
