I'm sure some of you will think this is like finding a tupperware container with a red top instead of a blue one :)laugh:), but I managed to find a Glock 19 with Austrian proof marks on it today:

My picture-taking ability is lacking, but you can see an armory mark (up close, it looks like an eagle w/ 2 on a shield) and NPv. AOH is the date of manufacture code.

It looks like it may have been made in late 2006, sat around in Austria for a while, and then was imported here to make up for a shortfall in production in Georgia. The marks also appear on the side of the slide (where a "Glock" should be) and side of the plastic frame. The side of frame also says "Made in Austria GLOCK GES.m.b.H". "Glock, Inc., Smyrna, GA" is imprinted on the bottom of the trigger guard.

The folks over at <broken link removed> are all abuzz about these.

Not the find of the century, but kinda cool for an otherwise generic gun.
