I polished it by hand, removed finger grooves and did double undercut.

Used flitz and microfiber towel...anytime I sat down I had the towel and elbow grease.

I was really scared to use anything that would scratch it. Glock says the anti corrosion tenifer is way deep in the metal.

Honestly it shows scratches/holster wear way less and is more rust/corrosion resistant. I'm doing the same thing to my 43x. In my opinion the 43x needs a smoother finish no matter what. It comes almost chalky
