I just traded for a 7.62 NATO Garand w/ a heavy textured black glass stock set. It is not an el cheap plastic stock set. As a 55+ year old disabled Navy vet (M14 qualified as a Midshipman) I am replacing it w/ a new CMP black walnut stock set with metal.
The rifle has been re-parked and is great looking. It has a new Fulton Armory 7.62 NATO bbl, NM rear sight assy, like new H&R receiver, bolt & oprod, and SA trigger group. Looks like someone was putting together a match rifle.
Is there a secondary market for these glass stock sets w/ as new metal? The glass stock looks like a McMillion, how do I tell who made it? If it is a McMillion I'll hang onto it.
I'll post pictures after work.
