I loves me some sweet chili sauce and I always keep some in the house but.....

Hoisin sauce
Ground Chili garlic sauce
Oyster sauce
Pepper sauce
Olive oil
Chopped garlic
Chopped Ginger

I didn't measure anything but

Heat olive oil in a pan add the garlic and ginger and fry a bit then add the rest of the ingredients and heat.

I never measure anything either once I get a taste I like...I do when building a recipe, to keep proportions in mind, but once I have it honed I splash and dash. Your formula for Gen. Tso's is real close to mine, except I toss a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste in for color. Yummmmmm

Why did I click on this thread? I don't have anything around here that tastes as good as that looks. I gotta head for town anyway in a couple of hours but now I'm salivating.
