GA Precision USMC M40A1
Built to the USMC, Quantico - RTE/Precision Weapon Shop build procedure.
-Remington 700 short action, trued with lugs lapped.
-Chambered in 308 Win/7.62 NATO.
-Clip slotted to Remington 40x/USMC specs.
-25" (24" from recoil lug) USMC contour spec. 1-12 twist, 6 groove, stainless barrel. 1.200 for 4" straight taper to approx .920" at muzzle.
-McMillan M40A1-HTG stock, sniper fill, Forest Camo, red 1/2" Pachmayr recoil pad.
-Wichita 1 1/4" sling swivels.
-Marine-tex pillar bedded.
-Tigger guard/floor plate custom made from Winchester Model 70 steel to USMC drawings.
-Old style Remington trigger tuned to 2.5 pounds and modified per drawings to USMC spec.
-GA Precision claims this rifle will have a 1/2" MOA guarantee with match grade ammunition.
-Included is a used reproduction Unertl scope mount with 6-48 screws, box, and paperwork.
Light scratch on the top of the bolt from using too long of a screw on the mount
other than that it's pretty much mint condition and unfired.
