I suppose you are correct if person would accept my means of money transfer and I trust a random person enough send them much money and hope that they might send me something in another state. I've been ripped off enough in this group but thank you for the idea.

Just noting that (only because I just did this), he can meet you at an Oregon FFL to do the transaction. The only thing to watch is when transferring the other way (Oregon resident to Washington resident), you can't take magazines exceeding 10 rounds across state lines. Hope that helps!

That must be very recent, I wasted a trip into Vancouver in December to a pawn shop to transfer a pistol to a Washington resident that failed because they wouldn't accept my ID as transferee because I wasn't a Washington resident... and I've NEVER convinced a Washington seller to meet me in Oregon.
