Berthier Mle 16 in 8mm Lebel.
All matching Nos. some hard to see since this started out life as a long rifle.
Very Good Shiny bore.
This little evolution was a favorite of the French foreign Legion circa WWI,
as well as the Enemy they were fighting.
"N" marked on the rcvr indicating the chamber has been reamed to handle the 'N' MG cartridge for the Hotchkiss MG.
Guaranteed to please the crowd and impress folks. Thumps your shoulder too.
It weighs 7 lbs and shoots a 200 gr bullet.
