Just sounds like more Sovereign Citizen crap to me. This guy should realize that he lives in the same US as the rest of us. If he don't like it, he is free to leave.

Apparently the guy claims that there is a legal, distinct difference between "The United States of America" and "the United States of America".

Reminds me of the whole conspiracy that having your name be in all capital letters on your SSN card means that the SSN is a "corporation" and that your personhood is under contract or corporation used by the Government

There is a LOT of video's of these morons getting an education. Someone started telling anyone who would listen to them that SCOTUS ruled that to drive you needed nothing as long as you were "traveling". So morons believe this and when pulled over scream about how the Cops have no authority. Right up until they finally smash out the window and drag them from their car to jail. Kind of reminds me of the morons who bought that one gen of IPhone that did not have the 3.5mm port. Someone started telling them it was there they just needed to drill a hole in the phone. A LOT of these rubes were doing it, then demanding Apple give them a new phone for the one they ruined. Stuff like that often makes me wonder how we have remained free this long.

I have sympathy for them. They'll start with requiring a license for your wagon and then next thing you know they'll require a safety harness and payments to some private company for the freedom to travel. Our freedoms have been so diluted that we don't know what freedom was like back during the Oregon Trail days. Every year those freedoms shrink a little bit more

I remember them getting "educated" pretty good in Mexico a while back.

Bunch of conspiracists, probably also think the Government will someday make us apply for a license to exercise a constitutionally protected right.

SCOTUS did indeed say no need license to travel other than driving yourself. Or drive on property that you own.

:s0153: Hmmm …..

- "Free land holders" = squatters?
- "movement" = what I have every morning after coffee?

…. Sounds like their headquarters could be a derelict Winnebago, based in downtown Portland? :s0092:

The "Sovereign Citizen" thing got started the same way. People taking something the top court has said, then on their own deciding it means xyz. I knew a guy well LONG before Al invented the net who fell for this crap. He ended up in Fed prison, after a few stints in jail for things like "Traveling" in a car with no tags and him having no license. A LOT of the morons getting arrested for this today have no clue this started before they were even born. The net has been a fantastic tool but it also shows Barnum was correct. He said something along the lines of you would never go broke betting on human stupidity.
Mean time people are probably still drilling holes in their new phone because someone on the net told them it works. So again I am left shocked we are still free here.

A LOT of people who scream "rights" make it very easy. They line up to say they believe some rights are really privileges. Right up until they get told no then they scream :s0092:
