The lower is THICC polymer w/ aluminum reinforcements in high stress areas, + carries a backup mag in the stippled grip (w/ a dedicated reversible mag release). Bolt catch, primary mag release and safety are all ambi out of the box. OAL 18.25 inches collapsed, sling up and this is one fast firing machine. Selling only to fund my addiction to 308
