Good evening! I just signed up--Bryan from Elite Buyers NW in Salem said I should check out NWFA classifieds as a possible place to sell my firearms locally. I only expected to see a basic buy/sell board, but I'm really impressed! There seems to be quite a bit of active discussions going on, which is great!

Quick info about me: I'm 50-ish, 12-year Navy vet (Aviation Ordnance), spent some time up and down range during GWOT, and now I love spending time outdoors hiking, camping and fishing all over the PNW. In fact, heading out to Cove Palisades State Park near Culver for 5 days in about 2 weeks...very excited about that! Got some new gear to test out and looking forward to the peace and quiet!

Anyway, good to be here, and thanks for having a great outlet to talk about our 2A interests!

So, I too recently moved to Salem and am also looking to meet more local people. I have heard that the range in Albany is the place to go but haven't gone yet. Planning on going maybe next Saturday? - ah I see if have to go through the membership application process. Ok

When I was in Washington I enjoyed building ARs and Glocks, among other things and often found myself helping friends build/tune things. I just finished setting up my bench at my new house and am ready to start having fun again. Qualifier; i am not a professional gunsmith--i just like having fun with builds.

By the way, it seems that screws for mounting a holosun 407/507 to a single xcarry legion, because it is 6-40 screws that are often omitted from opti s screw kits. Anybody have some lying around?

If you mean Albany Rifle and Pistol club, it's a members only club and without a membership, the only way to shoot there is via a member bringing you as a guest or shooting one of the several monthly matches……
