My grandpa brought back an FN 1922 with him at the end of WW2....he found it in a warehouse in Belgium, made a shoulder holster for it and used it instead of (or in addition to ) his 1911. From what I can remember, it was Nazi proofed, in .32 and had grips made out of plexiglass ( pretty common, guys used to put pictures under them).

Well, after he passed away, it "disappeared". So, here I am, 15 years later thinking about him and it popped into my head....why not see if anyone has one floating around. They aren't "rare" or terribly valuable, but I thought it might be neat to have one like his. A plus would be one with home made plexi grips...:)
