What was their reason for not fixing it under warranty? Were you given a quote for anew frame? Did they say anything on the safe function of the firearm with the crack?

They said it was from ammo over-pressurization so they won't cover it. I tried to get new frame but all they did was offered to sell me a new one at 'discount' and keeping the damaged one. Which was basically same price you could find at most gun store so I kept it. They didn't say much about the safety other than CYA we can't send this back if you replace it with us due to it being damaged.

I have the 509c tac version of the gun. I bought the MRD and switched out the frame. Bugs me that my fav. Shooter has a crack.
