I picked up a M-44 the other day in a private sale for $60. I've never been attracted to Mosins before, but it's really hard to pass up a $60 firearm in great shape. I picked up a box of ammo at Sportsman's and shot it for the first time this evening.

WHAT A BLAST!

I captured the fireball on film and thought I'd share.

Aunt Betty? What are you doing on the board, I haven't seen you in ages

Great deal on the M44, its hard to find them cheap these days, the 91/30s are the only ones I can find cheap anymore

some folks I knew in CA cut a couple down to 16" threaded them for amd 65 muzzle breaks. A serious night time show! With 44's going for $250 and up you really scored.
