Thanks!! I grabbed two boxes of the Federal 150 grain "non-typical" the other day to give that a try. My X-bolt seems to like a heavier OR a lighter solid copper bullet. Thinking it is a matter of bullet length not the weight. When I first got the rifle I tried a half dozen loads and settled on the above two. It might be worth while revisiting some of them, as when I was getting started i was pretty new to big boy rifles.
