Looking for .30 Remington centerfire cartridges for my old Stevens Highpower lever gun at a semi-reasonable price.

Note, this is NOT .30-30 WIN which is a similar, but rimmed CF load. It is also NOT the modern 30 REM AR. Likewise it is NOT .30 Carbine.

Thanks!

You ad does not make sense Steven's never used 30 rem In there rifles they mad a drop block rifle which is a lever style action but it is a single shot they came in many calibers I would suggest you go to a qualified gunsmith to have it gone over to make sure it is usable and cast chamber to find out caliber it used.

Still looking for a qualified gunsmith who actually knows it all though!

In all fairness, it's definitely not commonly seen, so excuse my tongue in cheek reply. Up until about 3 years ago Reed's and PCI were my go-to's for .30 Rem. But I haven't seen any from them, or any from anyone else at reasonable prices, in a long time.

I've got enough for several hunts if I ever decide to carry the Stevens in the field again. But I'm not going to spend a king's ransom at $4-5+/round for range time.
