What an idiot

The only thing I can think of that makes a certain amount of sense is that whatever they had left, was after they sold most non-firearms things to one of those surplus shops in bulk....?

Edit, also; I was there recently and uhm. I made a wrong exit onto the actual base and they had a team of MPs with weapons on them and were checking everyone's IDs out. They escorted me to U turn to get out of there in order to get back on I-5 to take the correct exit to get on Union Ave.
Ft Lewis covers 86,000 acres, the fence goes into some remote, forested areas - would not be hard to go over a fence - unless they now have remote sensors
I grew up around USAF SAC bases back in the Day
when I was 14, we once dug a hole under the fence is a Secure area near the U-2 hangers and got on and off the Base without being detected
we wore old burlap feed bags for camo

In 1968 a guy in my class at Cheney High School showed up with a German war surplus wool coat. The male teachers came unglued as most, if not all, had served in WWII. Don't know if he was being deliberately provocative or just witless. Anyway, he never came to school with that long wool coat again.

A lot has changed since then, but I remain completely mystified by those fascinated with Nazi or Communist ideology. My dad and uncles would be sick at heart to see this sort of thing in America.

P.S. not an arsenal.

Kinda 'coincidental' this 'Sovereign Solutions' is located in DuPont, WA right next to Ft. Lewis - and not too far from Lacey where the guys were arrested.....
DuPont is another Military town
there is a bar there where the Rangers hang out and drink
that's where I first learned Rangers were issued Glock 19s
spent many a night in the Hampton Inn there

I always wonder if the nut jobs are really dangerous?
If you are referring to the guys that robbed Ft Lewis I'd say so. From and article In Stars and Stripes about the robbery:

A fight ensued, and one of the men brandished a hammer and struck the soldier in the head. The soldier continued to fight despite losing a large amount of blood and managed to get control of the hammer — at which point, one of the men pulled a knife.

Why would you post that? So now when your account is inactive after 6 months we will know the black vans came for you 🤣🤣

SAC security guards are just like any other soldier on guard duty in peacetime - they get board and lax in their vigilance
we timed their schedule for a couple of days, went under the fence in between patrols
those famous SAC guard dogs didn't even scent in on us in our swamp water mud soaked grain sacks
that was back in '64 in Louisiana
and those B-52s are still there

That's what I was thinking. Yawn. Have the feeling, too, the the MG is a replica of some kind. But it's good for clicks and some progressive hand ringing and wailing?
I always wonder if the nut jobs are really dangerous? Or they're just miserable losers pretending, because their lives suck and they're to stoopid to realize it?
I think you nailed it. One side screams 24/7 about right wing violence but strangely all I see is the opposite weekly sometimes. To the "true" kooks left from those guys who used to march around dressed like followers of Hitler? There seems to be very few of them left and my guess is most of those are probably just miserable all the time with their life choices. :s0092:

I'd think flags are a 1st Amendment issue. But Nazi flags or anything else is hugely provocative. Kind of a multiplying factor for the "arsenal" angle.
