I was looking for a rifle with a little more horsepower than my son's 6.5 Grendel that he is shooting now. So I picked up a couple of nice 260 Remington rifles over the last couple months. This one and a Kimber Montana. We haven't shot either one yet, but he said that he prefers the Montana. Probably because that's what I shoot. Rather than spending a bunch of time and money finding out which one shoots best, I'm going to spend it on the Montana. So the Remington is for sale.
Remington model seven SS in 260 Remington. Rifle looks like it had not been fired much at all. Bolt face is clean as see in the pictures. Bore is excellent. Factory pebble grained stock with factory Remington pad. Pad is not sticky. LOP is 13 1/4". Four hole receive. No safety lock. Barrel is 20". Date code is BP. Scope is a older Leupold vari-x 3-9x40. Standard duplex. Friction adjustment with a date code of 1977. Typical wear and tear from a scope this old. Condition is shown in the pictures. Base and rings are included. I have 100 rounds of ammunition that could be bought with the rifle or add to make a deal. Thanks
