The 512 takes AA batteries, which I preferred for ease and cost.

The reticle is larger than it appears on the photos.

I'm not sure... I believe it was purchased about 3 years ago. I have the box somewhere around here. When I find it I'll confirm with you when generation it is. It's currently on my .308 AR mounted to a Leupold base which won't be included in the trade. It's a good scope but I'm looking to upgrade from it and I would like an Eotech for a different rifle of mine.

I appreciate the offer but I think I'll pass. I am wanting a 1-4 or 1-6 for my AR but I need something that will be as reliable as my Eotech, I'm a little afraid that a primary arms won't stand up to what I'll put it through. Thank you though.
