All of this anti Constitutional drama has gotten my attention. Let's say it has reached the point where it is scaring me. Noway can all of this be independent spontaneous and non related. Somebody, something is behind all of this orchestrating and pulling the strings. Who is bank rolling it?

My question is why has this gone on for so long? Why is not our own government clamping down or at least investigating who ever or whom ever is running the show? Could such an investigation determine seditious acts? How about a case for treason? Who could have such a power base?

Who could have the long history of doing exactly this to governments and freedoms? One answer that scares the daylights out of me is that the Cold War did not end and is just continuing under direct guises. Occam's Razor. Pick the most simple answer. It is usually correct. Oh boy.

I've had the same pet theory for a while. After all, socialist movements existed in the United States before the Cold War. The end of the USSR does not necessarily mean all the communist/socialist sympathizers went away. They still occupy the usual spots, hiding in plain sight where they have always been.

I hope come this Fall we can come together as a community and get out the vote. We, the hardworking, taxpaying public cannot let all the insults and attacks from these snot-nosed little idiots stand.

They don't need the official signature form to collect signatures. Don't think for a minute that these bottom feeders wouldn't be out getting names and addresses ahead of time then filling out and signing the official forms themselves. I'd hazard a guess that the SoS' office puts more emphasis and making sure the individual is a registered voter and not analyzing the hand writing. I know my signature on the voters registration card I signed 36 years ago looks a damn sight different than it does now. Put nothing past these people....nothing!

That is incorrect. Please review the actual language from the manual:

Approval to Circulate ORS 250.045 and 250.052

After receiving the final ballot title, the Elections Division provides chief petitioners official templates that must be used to prepare cover and signature sheets for circulation.

Also:

Official Template Requirements ORS 250.045 and 250.052

Chief petitioners must use official templates to collect signatures.

Official templates include:

a cover sheet which contains chief petitioner's names and residence addresses as well as, for an initiative, this includes the final ballot title, and for a referendum, the final measure summary from the last engrossed version of the bill;

a multiple-line signature sheet, which requires the circulator to complete the certification, may have up to twenty signature lines, although ten lines expedites the verification process; and

a ten line signature sheet, which requires the circulator to complete the certification; and  an e-sheet, which has space for one voter to sign and does not require a circulator certification be completed;

Circulators are prohibited from using the e-sheet to gather signatures on any petition.

Because the SOS has not issued a "final ballot title" nor issued the "official template" due to the appeal to the Oregon Supreme Court, there is no way for anyone to legally collect signatures at this time. Even the folks behind this ballot measure have stated as much on their own website. If anyone is attempting to collect signatures at this time, they are breaking the law.
