Even 710 feet to hit a pop can with a 22 would be tough. Almost 2 1/2 football fields.

Memory errors are extremely common, even if you are not intent on braggadocio. 22 Man seems to have spent some time drinking of the vine and carousing. I suspect his memory and other cognitive functions are somewhat trashed. His vision does seem good.
